Today in Maramba we reviewed the days of the week, the months of the year, the colors and the numbers. Then we took out the clay cups that we made the other day and each one painted his own. They loved the new experience of painting with brushes! They then drew for a while. We hung the drawings on the wall of the class placing them in the shape of an "M" to represent Maramba. When the time came for us to leave, the education team returned to Kimlea for lunch while the communication team went to Gatina with Jackie and Chela to record the documentary.
When we arrived in Gatina, the nursery teachers helped us organize the children so that we could record different scenes. At 4pm the others arrived with the rest of the clothes to distribute to the families. We walked around the village, stopping at each house in order to see which clothes will fit the mothers, fathers, grandparents and children that are there. It feels like we have become the three kings! The children accompany us throughout our trip. After dinner, we prepared some handmade dolls, made out of bottles, bed sheets and sewing thread, for the children of Maramba.
